European Union leadres shifted their attention to a slew of economic worries after agreeing to treaty simplifying the way the bloc works.

Among the EU Leaders the concern was the recent financial-market turmoil sett off by the trouble US subprime-mortgage market.
The UK,France and Germany issued a joint statement friday calling for a review of financial market regulation and the role of ratings services.
The Leaders also discussed the stron Euroand investiments by founds controlled by deep-pocketed foreign governaments.
After two years of solid economy growth,EU Leaders increasingly see external factors-from bad mortgage loans in USA to China growing clout in global market-as endangering block recovery.
A main concern for the 13 EU countries that use the euro has been the currency's climb against the US dollar and Japanese Yen.
The Eu chiefs try to prssure China to untether the yuan from the dollar and urging the US to persue a strong dollar.
