Not really conforting news around the glob as far as raw material is concerned.
Molybdenum prices rose at the end of last week on thight supply and increased buying from the stainless steel sector.
Contract prices for ferro-chrome are set to rise as high as $1.50 per lbs in 2008 from their curtrent level of $1.00 per lbs.
Beijing is considering raising taxes on Fe-Mo exports by 5%.
Clearly the situation is affecting and going to affect considerably the prices level of finished steel product globally.
